Probably the best known of the kangaroo distilleries (a small single malt distillery located on the premises of a grain distillery plant, trademark by Pandemonium), Inverleven was born in 1938 in the house of Dumbarton. Inverleven 1991

Neat at Scotch Bar, Hesperia Hotel, Madrid. It pours clean pale amber with greenish highlights. Scent is quite intense: aromatic bitters, dry lemon, green pinecone. There is also some vanilla and, even, seaweed. Nice. Mouthfeel is powerful and crisp, displaying a solid structure. Finish is pungent, warm, barely bitter and long-lasting. Very good.
