The Aberlour 16 Year Old Double Cask is a complex Speyside Scotch. Double-matured in oak and sherry casks, it boasts a spice-filled depth, less sherry-sweet than its 18yo counterpart. Exhibiting a warm, golden amber hue, its creamy nose hints at sweet raisins and spicy nuttiness. On the palate, floral and spicy flavours intersperse with sweet plum fruitiness and a touch of oak. The finish is infused with a warm, honeyed spiciness.
