An independent bottling of Speyside whisky, Longmorn, by Adelphi. This Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in 1992 and matured in oak casks for 20 years before being bottled in 2012. At 55.1% you could certainly add a drop or two of decent water to this whisky to enhance the texture and open up the spirit.

Box: Awesome magnetic clasp for top-hinged door lid. Bottle had leather binding on bottom half. Cool. Nose: Fresh poundcake. Slight tang or bite. ? Palate: Oak, honey. Well-balanced sweetness. Boatshed on a summer day. Slight warm wax. Blackcurrant. Finish: Full, long. Bit of peat.
