Highland Park 18 Year Old

No doubt about it the HP 18 is a great whisky...rich, flavorsome malty and sweet, but after trying the 16 year old I think I actually prefer the younger stable mate. It's slightly smoother with a gossamer texture, lighter and not so thick and treacley... curiously this whisky works better for me either with the 21 yr 47% or the 16 yr 40%.......
