N: very nice sweetness, easy steady arrival, dark fruits, tiramisu, caramel. W/ H2O caramel dies down, so does everything else. P: even on the tongue, shallow, black pepper, expecting sweet but not there, sour/bitter. not complex, smooth (this is a critism). F: medium-short, bitter peppery. Final note: not worth the money for whisky anoraks....

Nose: You can tell it is fully 15 years of sherry maturation. grassy note also, but coffee, with nuts a hint of vanilla and some toffee also, pretty complex and quite enjoyable. Nose: heather and dark chocolate. Rather malty. Orange marmelade. Cake. Hints of sherry and oak. Roasted coffee beans. Mouth: slightly weakish but rich enough. Heather again. Orange notes. Caramel as well (too bad). Vague smoke. Finish: mixture of coffee, dry oloroso sherry and hints of vanilla.
