Founded by James Delamain in the late 18th century, the fortunes of Delamain ebbed and flowed before the company was fully revived - in its present form - from 1924 by James’s grandson Anne-Phillippe Delamain and his cousins from the Roullett family. Still family owned today - the extended family includes the Braastads from Norway who are a prominent name in the world of cognac - Delamain does not produce cognac but instead selects and bottles some fine brandies from high quality producers in the region.
