Regarded as one of the finest small scale grower-distillers in the Cognac region, Daniel Bouju is still owned and operated by the Allard family. Currently in the hands of the seventh generation of Allards to run the company, the brand dates back to 1805.
Daniel Bouju still use small pot stills to produce a highly concentrated cognac which is first matured in small casks before being transferred to larger casks which minimise harsh tannins.
The current range includes a bottle which is something of a rarity in cognac - a cask strength edition.
